Hey Hey Hey!
So I didn't mention this yesterday, but as I was walking to my french class @ Wake Tech, this RAG (Random ass guy) catches my attention and he asks me if I had an iPod charger. I said no, not on me. Then he asked if I could take his home to charge it. And I said, no I don't think so. Then I pressed the button for the elevator, expecting it to open up and take me away. Aw, not so.... He persisted. "Can you please help me out?" I looked at him. A older black man, kind of scruffy looking, and with stubble. No, I was not looking if he was cute....maybe I was....but he wasn't anyway. I gave in and asked to see his iPod. He came over to me and handed me his iPod. It was a 1st generation black nano with a case. I just know types of iPods off the top of my head, Steve Jobs has me as a slave like that. Anyway, I didn't see the problem in doing this for him, I'm a generous person, so I agreed. He looked desperate anyway. I told him to meet me at this same spot tomorrow @ 11:45, in plain sight of others in case he was a black Ted Bundy. He agreed and thanked me a million times as the elevator FINALLY came. I went on and threw my head back on the paneling. Soooooo, later that day, I'm home, charging the iPod, and I decided to look through his library to see what kind of music he listens to. No Anita! But I really can't expect every man on earth to like Anita. He has good r&b, but only one song from the artist, like Angela Winbush-Angel. Is that it? I doubt it. Luther Vandross-Any Love. Oh, that is blasphemy. Anyway, scrolled down and saw rap, then I saw....Keyshia Cole? Wait, not just one song.....15 of them. Okaayyy....a little weird for a grown man. Scrolled a little down, and then I see 9 Mariah Carey songs....uhm....this is still a grown man here. Okkkkayyy....scroll a little further......Melissa Etheridge????? whoa. So is he gay? Scroll a little further....Rhianna!?! Oy vey..... So I looked in settings for the name of the iPod. "Tinkerbell". Either he's flaming, or it's stolen. I placed my money on stolen. Ohhhhhhh goodddddddd whhyyyy????? So the next day, I meet him at 11:45 and sure enough, he's there. With a iHome in hand he just bought at the bookstore. He thanks me so much and he asked if I wanted his number. Hella naw!! I said no, and went on my merry way, thinking of what I should have done.
To be continued, on another venue, ya dig?
